Gooder Grammar

Say…what?

I see enough people now use “impactful” that the online dictionaries have picked it up. That fact alone speaks to its significantness. So it wouldn’t be stupidful to use words that are likeful to you because, if they’re used by enough people, they’ll be plus-oned to the dictionaries. I heard a professional toss out “ferociousness” the other night. Why not? It’s been picked up too. If “ferocity” doesn’t get remembered, it’s OK to Scrabble Up. It takes the language to a new level of interestocity. Certainly peaks my curiousness!

Broadcaster1: “So, what do you think about the team’s new acquisition?”

Broadcaster2: “I mean, I think it will be an impactful move, negating the impactless hires of last year. His physicality makes him a star. He possesses advanced athleticism and his verticality will be impactful to the team, as will his unparalleled horizontalocity which will allow him to overhaul opponents on the field. I was glad to see his name when the coach dropped the new team roster. I’ve heard from some that he also demonstrates great musicality during Karaoke.”

“Uh…OK.”

“It’s halftime and we have a few minutes. So, I think I’ll reach out to the parking lot and do some cornholing with the tailgaters.”

“Well, OK. But don’t forget your water bottle. It’s 73 degrees out there and they’re a good 50 yards from the door.”

“Good point, thanks. I’ll take two.”

Gotta go. The waitress just dropped my breakfast, time to eat.
