Seeking Four

You can seek four new tires.

You can’t seek for new tires.

You can seek for Jim and help him out if Jim is seeking four new tires. Then you would be seeking new tires with Jim. If, on the other hand, you were trying to find Jim, you’d be seeking Jim (no “for”).

Seek –> what’s being sought.
